iPodArchive.com is another in-house project by the Braintank team to experiment with the new era of mobile-device video and online communities. iPodArchive.com launched the day that Apple launched the "iPod Video" - thereby providing millions of users access to a libary of video that iPods, PSPs, and other mobile devices could download and watch.
The site also embraces user-submitted content so that the majority of videos available on the site are from users that share with others - creating a virtual catalog or "archive" of some of the best mp4 and m4v videos available on the web.
Site traffic is increasing every month and is already on track to achieve over 1 million visitors in its first year. Braintank hopes to use this site as a further playground for experimental design and development in the years to come.
